Sawyer is a Southeast Missouri native and 2010 Dexter High School graduate.  In between semesters of law school he worked at the Missouri State Public Defender's Office in Poplar Bluff and for Jasper N. Edmundson, Jr., Attorney & Counselor at Law.  He began working as a law clerk for Attorney Dustin L. Mayer in 2020 and obtained his law license the following year.  As an associate lawyer, he now serves and represent clients in transaction or litigation.  His wife Leeza and he enjoy traveling, attending church, taking care of their pets, and spending time together with their family and close friends.  Some personal interests of his include hunting, fishing, farming, public speaking, and playing guitar.
